FREEPORT - Three persons were arraigned on Friday in the Freeport Magistrate's Court on illegal drugs and firearm possession charges.

Mark Holbert, 19, Japheth Nixon, 27, and Yontie Nixon, 24, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones in Court Three.

They were charged with two counts of possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of unlicensed firearm.

It is alleged that on August 18, the accused were found in possession of a half pound of marijuana and .9mm pistol at an apartment at Forbisher Drive North.

Holbert pleaded guilty to all of the charges.
