Hope for the homeless: One sole at a time

The classic Converse All Star sneaker, which dominated the basketball scene from the 1920s straight to the 1960s, had absolutely nothing to do with homelessness until international artists joined forces to contribute to a project that aims to shed light on the global humanitarian issue.

The Sole Plus Project, which is spearheaded by American entrepreneur Brian Keith Miller, caught the attention of artists from all over the Caribbean, including Bahamian-American Alexis Caputo, who has contributed to the art and education activism project and tour.
