POLICE VOICE CONCERN OVER VIOLENT ATTACKS

FREEPORT - Grand Bahama Police are concerned about the recent violent attacks in the Garden Villas area and are warning people there not to take the law into their hands.

This comes after a 36-year-old man was attacked and beaten in the area on Wednesday, August 11.

It is the second incident this month as another man was also badly beaten about the body and left bleeding in the area on August 6.

There is speculation that the two men were allegedly involved in the recent rape of two teenage girls. The incident has sparked outrage among persons in the Garden Villas area, near to where the incident occurred.
