Veronica Duncanson and Pam Richardson, the two sparkplugs for Marathon Bahamas II, have indicated that plans for the second version of the super long-distance running extravaganza are going quite well.
The anchor from the very outset for the ambitious Marathon I, was Duncanson, and this time around she has on board, Ministry of Tourism veteran Richardson to help chart the marketing/public relations course.
The event is to take place on Sunday, January 16, 2011 and an official launch is scheduled for next Tuesday, August 17 at the Sunshine Insurance/Arawak Homes Complex on East Shirley Street. To help officially kick off the event with a pr ...
