JAMMAL'S PICKS

Wed, Oct 19th 2011, 08:10 AM

WEEK SIX: 10-3

SEASON: 57-33

Byes: Bills, Bengals, Patriots, Giants, Eagles and 49ers.

SUNDAY'S GAMES

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans 1:00 PM

This is easily the biggest game of the season for both teams with division supremacy on the line. The Texans are not the same team without Andre Johnson and Mario Williams and they could be the difference between a win a loss on Sunday. Quietly, the Titans have been a solid team without even having Chris Johnson in mid-season form and I think they will come out of the bye week and capture a victory at home.

Titans 24, Texans 20

Seattle Seahawks at Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM

The Browns are fortunate enough to face two subpar teams in back-to-back weeks, but the Seahawks are one of those teams that can be solid one week and terrible the next. I think we might see the good Seahawks this week, and they will pull out a key road win.

Seahawks 20, Browns 17

Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions 1:00 PM

We will learn a lot about both of these teams on Sunday. The winner of this game will likely be a legit contender for a playoff spot in the winter. If the Falcons continue to commit to the run like they did last week and protect Matt Ryan then they will be in great shape, but it's easier said than done against that Detroit defense. I think the Lions will cool off some more this week and drop a close one at home to a hungry Falcons team.

Falcons 17, Lions 13

Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins 1:00 PM

This game should be called the'Andrew Luck Bowl'because both of these teams are headed toward another wasted season. I think Miami has to make a decision and tank their season so they can get the best quarterback in college right now. I don't think Miami could win if they tried to, so why not lose for a good cause?

Broncos 24, Dolphins 13

San Diego Chargers at NY Jets 1:00 PM

The Chargers are quietly the third best team in the AFC and people will start to pay more attention to them after they come up big in New York on Sunday. The Jets have a strong defense, but they will only go as far as Mark Sanchez takes them which might be as far as Rex Ryan can throw him. I like the team with the better quarterback and better offense.

Chargers 23, Jets 16

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00 PM

The Bucs redeemed themselves against the Saints last week and I expect them to keep the momentum going this week. This game will come down to turnovers, and Jay Cutler is a turnover waiting to happen.

Buccaneers 24, Bears 16

Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers 1:00 PM

This may be the best chance the Panthers have to get another win, but that Redskins defense is too good to dismiss. Cam Newton has seen worse defenses this year, but Washington will give him fits.

Redskins 17, Panthers 7

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders 4:05 PM

No matter who is lining up behind center for Oakland, as long as Darren McFadden is leading the Oakland charge they will be too much for the Chiefs to handle.

Raiders 27, Chiefs 12

Pittsburgh Steelers at Arizona Cardinals 4:05 PM

Kevin Kolb is having a somewhat productive season, but it's not translating to wins. The Steelers will pour it on the Cardinals on Sunday and continue to fine-tune their squad for the second half of the season.

Steelers 24, Cardinals 14

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings 4:15 PM

If the Packers win this game, will it be safe to talk about an undefeated season?I think they will lose two games, but none of the losses will come against the Vikings.

Packers 34, Vikings 14

St. Louis Rams at Dallas Cowboys 4:15 PM

The Cowboys should be happy that the Rams are on the schedule this week, and they will finally get a convincing win at the hands of a disappointing Rams team.

Cowboys 34, Rams 9

Indianapolis Colts at New Orleans Saints 8:20 PM

It wouldn't be fair to talk bad about the Colts because they would be a winning team if Peyton Manning was playing, but he isn't so we all know how this will end.

Saints 33, Colts 17

MONDAY'S GAME

Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars 8:30 PM

The Ravens are rolling and I don't see them slowing down any time soon. It should be a competitive game, but the better team will win.

Ravens 24, Jaguars 17
