"Family Guardian Gives Back with Annual Social Outreach Programme"

Family Guardian’s annual Founders’ Day provides an opportunity for the Company to commemorate its 1965 formation with a day of activities designed to positively impact the communities it serves.

This year’s Founders’ Day saw the entire staff of Family Guardian and its associate companies, BahamaHealth, FG Insurance Agents & Brokers, FG Financial, and FG Capital Markets, once again giving their time and talents to assisting charitable organizations and schools in their neighborhoods.

Staff and agents spent Friday, September 16, helping to improve the physical surroundings of a number of social institutions, enjoying game time with special needs children, and entertaining elderly day-care residents.

In all, eighteen organizations were visited during the day-long annual event:

NASSAU

– Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled

– Centre for the Deaf

– Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre, Education Unit

– School for the Blind, Salvation Army

– Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre, Geriatrics Unit

– Demetrisu Elderly Home

– The Beacon School

FAMILY ISLANDS

– Sandy Point Primary School, Abaco

– Lovely Bay Primary School, Acklins and Crooked Islands

– Central Andros High School, North Andros

– High Rock Primary School, South Andros

– Arthurs Town High School, Cat Island

– Rolleville Senior Citizens, Exuma

– Governor's Harbour Primary School, Eleuthera

– The Elderly in Northern Long Island
