New Human Resource and Labour Help Desk launched

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce & Employers Confederation (BCCEC) announced the introduction of a new service for members and small, medium and large businesses in Corporate Bahamas: The BCCEC Human Resource & Labour Help Desk, on September 21, 2011.

By calling the BCCEC Help Desk at 242 322-2145 or 242 322-3320, members can request the assistance of a Human Resource Consultant to assess varying aspects of their Talent Management business at greatly reduced rates.
Some of these areas include: sourcing and recruitment, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee services and policies and procedures. Each company will receive a written assessment with recommendations to improve any deficiencies that would help strengthen their company and their employee relations.

Additionally, companies could call the Help Desk for assistance with Industrial Relations issues, including but not limited to mediation services, labour conciliation meetings and industrial tribunal hearings. While this programme is available to all Chamber members, we see this as being particularly beneficial to SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprise) and consistent with our commitment to provide developmental support to this segment of our business community.

The BCCEC has partnered with other Chamber members with expertise in Human Resource Consulting and Labour Consultants and Labour Lawyers available to assist members of BCCEC and Corporate Bahamas.

A press conference was held at the BCCEC’s Nassau Headquarters to launch the new HR and Labour Help Desk Services. For more information, please contact BCCEC Chairman, Winston Rolle at admin@thebahamaschamber.com or Ian Ferguson, Manager of the Chamber Institute at institute@thebahamaschamber.com or by calling 242 322-2145.
