Mayaguez, Puerto Rico - During the week of July 18th to 23rd  Team Bahamas participated in the 21st Central American
and Caribbean (CAC) Games.

Vereance Burrows won a bronze in the men's 50 meter Butterfly final with a time of 24.30 seconds.

was a big relief because I felt that I should have medaled in two other
of my events, but I came up short. I was frustrated
all week with my performances and that race was my last chance, so I
focused all my frustrations into that race and the end
