COMMUNITY activists intend to "track down" the whereabouts of convicted sex offenders as they compile an unofficial Internet register.
The initiative is fuelled by a determination to confront societal trends concerning sexual abuse and paedophilia, said Bahamas Against Crime spokesman Rev C B Moss.
"We've been talking about crime for so long and the talk intensifies when something like the recent murder of Marco Archer happens, but then after a little while it subsides," Mr Moss said.
"We want to force those responsible to confront it, and it will not be pushed to the back burner."
