The body of a boy, believed to be that of 11-year-old Marco Archer, missing since Friday, was found in bushes in Cable Beach this morning.
Police are still combing the scene for evidence and are in the process of identifying the body.
Commissioner Ellison Greenslade revealed that the body was found in the back of an apartment complex on York Shire Drive in Cable Beach.  He added that police have three men in custody in connection with the gruesome discovery.
"We feel very, very confident that we will resolve this matter," Greenslade said. Archer went missing between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. from Brougham Street and Baillou Hill Road last Friday. Archer's mother Troyphiema Meadows, told The Guardian yesterday that she believes that her son is still alive. Greenslade said he will hold a press conference once the boy is identified.
