WITH a little over a week before the House of Assembly reconvenes, opposition members say they still haven't seen the government's proposed amendments to the penal code and Bail Act.

Leader of opposition business Obie Wilchcombe said they are still waiting for National Security Minister Tommy Turnquest to hand over the proposed amendments.

"We are still waiting for the documents to be delivered, hopefully we will get them in the next couple of days. If that happens we will have enough time to look it over before the debate begins.

"I am hoping however that if we do get it, it'll be before tomorrow."
