Vancouver, CANADA - Just arriving back to Canada from life in The Bahamas for 13 years we were ecstatic to learn we were being gifted with free tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver last weekend. Swift is presently on her Speak Now world tour and her opening night show in Vancouver (the first of two shows) was sold out at the Rogers Arena. I am not up on most of her songs, but my fifteen year old daughter Jackie is an aspiring singer and was excited to be seeing someone who has inspired her, and to be going to her first big concert after growing up in The Bahamas, was a dream come true!

We arrived late and missed the opening acts of Josh Kelley and Needtobreathe, and we were immediately entertained by the young giggly girls sitting in front of us dressed in plaid shirts, denim minis and cowboy boots who rarely sat and kept asking us to dance with them.
