From Wednesday 24th August 2011 till Friday 25th August 2011 Hurricane Irene pounded the whole Bahamas. Some devastation hit the family islands where some people lost their homes. There is still no reports of any death's because of Hurricane Irene, but we will keep you posted.

Hurricane Irene went up to a category 3 hurricane on the saffir-simpson hurricane wind scale when it went through the Bahamas.
