DAEGU, South Korea: Manager Ralf McKinney said the 13th IAAF World Championships has brought some significant circumstances for Team Bahamas, one of which is the withdrawal of veteran sprinter Debbie Ferguson-McKenzie from the 100 metres.
For the first time, the women and men 100 metres will get started with a preliminary round for competitors from the various countries that didn't have any competitors who qualified with either the A or B standards.
