The gunman sought in the Sunday shooting at Pepper Pot Take-away in Freeport was captured in New Providence Monday evening.

A team of officers, acting on information received, apprehended Moss at an apartment on Carmichael Road in New Providence, around 6:00pm on Monday 6.10.08.

Kema Anton Moss, 29 yrs of Coral Gardens, Freeport and Wilson Tract, NP, was wanted in connection with the Saturday 4.10.08 noonday shooting of 23 yr old Joseph Adrecko Cooper, also of Coral Gardens, which occurred in the southern parking lot of the Pepper Pot Take Away Restaurant on East Sunrise Highway.


There has been no improvement in Cooper's condition since he was airlifted to PMH on Saturday, which remains listed as 'very critical'.
