82 boat people repatriated yesterday in Cap-Haitien

g-3310.jpg Haitilibre.com - The crewmembers from the Coast Guard Cutter Confidence (USCGC Confidence WMEC 619) have repatriated yesterday Friday, in Cap-Haitien, 82 Haitian boat-people. Friday, the crew of the Confidence located a 40-foot sailing vessel northwest of Great Inagua, Bahamas. Once on scene, the crew distributed lifejackets and safely transferred the 82 migrants to the Confidence from the sailing vessel. Once aboard a Coast Guard cutter, all migrants are provided with food, water, shelter and basic medical attention.
