Albury Sayle Primary School Teacher of the Year Naria McKenzie-Holbert, 31, is a 10-year veteran of the profession, and teaches at the sixth grade level. Q: Did you always want to be a teacher? A: Initially, no I didn’t. I wanted to be a police officer. It was always either a police officer or a teacher. I was at the point where whichever one called me first was where I would go.
