- On May 13th, the Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant Organization
unveiled eight lovely young ladies who are vying to become the next Miss
Grand Bahama for 2011. The event was sponsored by and held poolside at
the Pelican Bay Hotel.

The
girls came out individually in swimsuits and were introduced by past
Miss Grand Bahama 2008, Kerel Pinder, and Karon Pinder-Johnson,
Executive Director of the YMCA.  Then in dresses, the contestants made a
second walk in front of the large crowd of supporters, family and
friends, where they also had the opportunity to introduce themselves and
