Representing The Islands of The Bahamas, contestants
twenty-year old Nadia Barr, and 14 year old Serena Turnquest, took home the
crowns of Miss and Junior Miss Atlanta Caribbean Carnival at the recent Fourth
Annual Scholarship Pageant at Miller Grove High School in Lithonia, GA.

The pageant was presented by the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival
Bandleaders Association (ACCBA) and featured three categories. Five-year old Priya Mungroo,
representing the island of Trinidad, walked away with the title of
Princess. Other countries
represented in the pageant included, Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Jamaica,
Haiti, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands...
