Business Licence backlog 'sorted within the week'

The Ministry of Finance is "reasonably satisfied with progress being made" at the Business License Unit, although admitting that a "three-week backlog of around 300 applications" currently remains.

Minister of State for Finance, Zhivargo Laing, said late last week that the unit has "processed and completed about 10,000 applications" for business licenses since January 2011.
