Online University hosting information sessions for students

Kaplan University is visiting the Bahamas to address the growing demand for recognized online learning.

Research has shown that increasing numbers are looking for opportunities to gain degrees via distance learning from respected international institutions.

Latest figures show that in 2009, up to 2,500 students from the Bahamas were seeking qualifications not delivered by the islands education providers.

In support of Kaplan's expansion into the Bahamas it will be holding two information sessions in Nassau's British Colonial Hilton on Saturday 14th May.

The online educator, which offers more than 125 online degrees and professional development programs, is bringing its learning platform to the Bahamas. An introduction to the higher learning institution is taking place in Nassau next month.
