PM: Accelerated permanent residence review for foreign homeowners

Commitment to a 21-day turnaround for accelerated consideration for permanent residence status may be more meaningful to realtors than the tripling of the value of the residence that would qualify applicants.
Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham outlined the nation’s National Investment Policy and recent amendments to it in the House of Assembly on Monday. Among the amendments is an increase in the value of a residence that would qualify an applicant for ‘accelerated consideration’ for permanent resident status from $500,000 to $1.5 million.
