Arawak Homes presses on in legal dispute over land

Arawak Homes is appealing the decision of Justice Neville Adderley to dismiss eight of 10 court disputes relating to land, which were heard in an interlocutory hearing in March.
The purpose of the hearing was to do away with the need of Arawak Homes to undergo 10 separate trials to retrieve property it owns in Pinewood Gardens and Nassau Village, as it was determined that the evidence in each case was similar.
“The company has initiated legal actions in the Supreme Court to recover its property,” a statement released yesterday by Arawak Homes said.
