Lucayan Lightning Swim Team bolt ahead to CARIFTA Games

Freeport, Grand Bahama - On Monday 14th March, the Bahamas Swimming
Federation announced the National Team which will travel to the CARIFTA
Games in Barbados at the end of April.

Four swimmers from

Lucayan Lightning Swim Team
were named to represent their country in different age groups. Maya
Albury, the team's most senior swimmer, will participate in the girls'
15-17 age group. Dustin Tynes will represent the 13-14 boys and Taryn
Smith and Joanna Evans will swim in the girls' 13-14 category. These four
swimmers accrued an impressive 19 CARIFTA qualifying times and will
represent the Bahamas is numerous individual events as well as a variety
of relays...
