THE PLP has branded as "ludicrous" the governing party's suggestion that it organised Wednesday's anti-BTC sale protest in Rawson Square.

It said: "The demonstration was not led by the PLP but by the Committee to save BTC for Bahamians.

"The fact of the matter is that this government's incredible lack of compassion, understanding and insight into the fundamental needs and concerns of the Bahamian people and their continued refusal to hear and for that matter feel the needs and concerns of the Bahamian people is shameful.
