The Exumas and Ragged Island Constituency Voters Registration Drive

Registration of Voters for the upcoming 2017 General Election continues daily in the Exumas and Ragged Island Constituency, at the Administrator’s Office from 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and throughout the District as follows:

Bahamian Citizens who have reached the age of eighteen (18) years are urged to register at this time so as to be eligible to vote during the upcoming General Election. All persons applying to register are asked to bring along a valid Bahamian Passport or Birth Certificate and their National Insurance Card, along with an official identification (ID). Voters who registered for the 2012 General Election can present their 2012 Voter’s Card along with his/her NIB Card to the Revising Officer. Any Birth Certificate issued after 10 July 1973, must be accompanied by the applicant’s Mother’s Bahamian Passport or Birth Certificate.

Any applicant who only possesses an Affidavit of birth, ought to apply to the Passport Office for his/her Bahamian Passport as evidence (proof) of Bahamian citizenship.
