Ambassador Avant hosts a dinner with top Bahamian female leaders in honor of Spelman President Dr. Beverly Tatum

Nassau, Bahamas - In celebration of Black History Month, United
States Ambassador to The Bahamas, Nicole A. Avant hosted a dinner with
The Bahamas' top female leaders to mark the visit of Spelman's President
Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum.  Guests included Katherine Smith, Bahamas
Consul General to Atlanta, Minister of State for Labour and Social
Development Loretta Butler-Turner, Sen. The Hon. Allyson Maynard-Gibson,
Senator Jacinta Higgs and Arlene Cash, Vice President Office of
Enrollment Management at Spelman College. The dinner brought together a
group of more than 30 dynamic women in leadership from various sectors
of Bahamian society including the government, NGO's, education, business
and the private sector...
