A MAN is in hospital in serious condition following a stabbing incident on Monday evening in the Bottle Bay area, police reported.

The victim was at work at a business shortly after 7pm when it is reported that a co-worker stabbed him with a knife in his upper body.

He was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.

A man is in police custody assisting police with their investigations.
