Wayne Cleare, chairman of the All Andros Crab Fest Committee, presented eight Central Androsians students with over $23,000 in scholarship grants to various colleges in the United States as well as to The College of The Bahamas, from some of the proceeds of the 2015-2016 All Andros Crab Fests.

Cleare thanked all the patrons and sponsors that continue to support the All Andros Crab Fest over the last twenty years. Cleare also said that "It should be noted that three Central Androsian students received grants from the 2015 All Andros Crab Fest and the committee is extremely proud to continue with the new tradition of helping in the continued development of the education of the students of Central Andros."

Three of the five Central Androsian students were chosen this year based on academic performance and the other two were chosen based on their improvement from the 2015 to 2016 academic year.
