A MEMORIAL service and celebration of the life of the late Dr Keva Maria Bethel was held yesterday morning at the College of the Bahama.

Dr Bethel passed away Tuesday morning at Doctor's Hospital.

The loss of the college's President Emerita and scholar-in-residence has deeply saddened the academic community, and one of Dr Bethel's colleagues said her "legacy is forever etched in the foundation of our great institution".

Dean Patrick Adderley, Rector at Christ Church Cathedral, provided the eulogy at the service, while former students and colleagues offered heartfelt reflections on Dr Bethel's life, ...
