On Saturday August 27, shoppers at Solomon’s Lucaya will have a chance to participate in a free, in store health seminar as a part of the store’s ongoing Let’s Talk Health series. The retail food chain is teaming up with presenter, Dr. Monique Pratt who specializes in Internal Medicine & Nephrology for an Ask The Doctor forum.

“We’re encouraging our customers to sign up and come prepared with questions for Dr. Pratt. We want the session to be engaging with open dialogue so that persons in attendance can have important health questions answered,” said Charlene Harding, Marketing Assistant at Solomon’s. “Dr. Pratt is willing to share her knowledge and impact the community in a positive way and we want to thank her in advance for taking the time to meet our customers and our team at Solomon’s.”

Let’s Talk Health “Ask The Doctor” session will include tips on coping with diabetes, hypertension, obesity and other common illnesses prevalent in the Bahamian community as well as preventative strategies for a healthier lifestyle. The event runs from 1pm-2pm at Solomon’s Lucaya. Space is limited.
