was saddened to learn of the death this morning of Dr. Keva Bethel who
was one of the great builders - arguably the pre-eminent builder - of
tertiary education in The Bahamas.   

 

Dr. Bethel was an extremely gifted individual who was also kind and generous to a fault.  Although
of gentle disposition, she possessed an unwavering dedication to the
causes in which she believed and was always a passionate and committed
advocate, especially for the development of the College of The Bahamas,
an institution of higher learning with which her name will always be
associated...
