Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling conducts Inspection of the Guard at the 43rd Anniversary Independence Celebrations on Clifford Park to the theme, Honouring Our People’s Excellence, July 9, through the morning of Independence Day, July 10, 2016. The Ecumenical Service, Military Tattoo, and Cultural Extravaganza honoured Bahamians who have, through excellence, made the nation proud, and advanced the efforts towards nation building. The programme culminated in the official Flag Raising, and finally -- the People’s Love and Unity Rush.
