REV has joined forces with Gone Viral TV (GVTV) to bring YouTube star "LaToya Forever" to New Providence for a "Learn from the Pros" social media seminar on Sunday, July 3 at The British Colonial Hilton.

LaToya, an Ontario-native born to Trinidadian parents, entered the social media scene in 2010 and has since amassed over 1.5 million followers across her personal and comedic YouTube channels combined. The popular vlogger, along with her online marketing specialist husband Adam Ali, will join the seminar's panel of social media experts to share tips on successfully building a strong online presence.

During their visit, LaToya and Adam will get an opportunity to engage with local fans as REV and GVTV have scheduled a meet-and-greet at the REV Store at the Mall at Marathon on Saturday, July 2 at 1pm. The telecommunications company and TV network have also teamed up to give two lucky fans the chance to win a complimentary dinner and one-on-one time with the couple.

"It's exciting to be able to provide this chance for LaToya's fans as well as residents who are interested in social media marketing," REV Marketing Manager Melissa Baker said. "It's a unique opportunity for those individuals aspiring towards social media stardom to meet with successful vloggers and learn tricks of the trade."

The seminar on Sunday will also feature local web personalities: Sherice Major, SheSoMajor; Aneka Stewart, Cay to Style; Timico Sawyer, Sawyerboy TV; representatives of 10th Year Seniors; and Anastarcia Palacious, who will moderate the event. The web stars will discuss a range of social media-related topics, including content creation and curation, posting schedules, context, and social tools.

The social media seminar on Sunday is free and open to the public, and begins at 3:00 p.m. The event will be taped and aired on Our TV, channel 212, at a later date.

Additional information about the meet-and-greet and social media seminar can be found on the company's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GetRevdUp.
