Minister of Financial Services and Local Government, the Hon. Hope Strachan delivers remarks during a reception held for Administrators and Local Government Practitioners. The event was held at the SuperClub Breezes on the evening of June 24. The event commemorates the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Local Government in the Bahamas. During the day, a one-day conclave was held, in which the Minister reconfirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening and deepening the role that local government has played and continues to play in the future success of local communities.
