Help people to help themselves

I'm writing this particular article during an election year in the U.S. Yes indeed, Americans will go to the polls in November, to elect a new President to lead that nation, hopefully successfully into the future. Of course the whole process of zeroing in on the actual candidates of the two major political parties goes on, it would appear, for ever as each individual state has it's, what they refer to as Primaries where several candidates vie for both votes and delegates who will be present at their respective conventions where the actual candidate will be ratified for the Presidential election. It is indeed a very long, drawn out process which a whole lot of people get completely fed up with.

Now on the Republican side out of the final three candidates, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich I personally favor John Kasich the present Governor of the State of Ohio. Whilst listening to him at a Town Hall meeting recently, he stated that he'd like to 'Help People Help Themselves' and My Friend, that's what we all should be doing each and every day, isn't it?.... it sure is!

This is a vastly different message than the one being put forth by the avowed Socialist Candidate for the Democratic Party for President Senator Bernie Sanders who wants to just give everyone whatever they need for free. My Friend, I do hope you're not gullible to the extent that you believe anything is free in this world; because there's a price to pay for everything.

Yes indeed, getting away from politics and getting back to reality, we all need to go out of our way to 'Help People Help Themselves'. Let's apply this principle to our family, in the workplace and indeed throughout the community we live in as we endeavor to inspire people by mentoring them and getting them to fully believe in themselves to the point where they know that they can indeed prosper and succeed through discipline and hard work.
