Coca-Cola supports the 49th Annual Long Island Regatta

“After the devastating hurricane last year, we were uncertain that this year’s Regatta would be possible,” explains Mr. Burrows, Chairman of the Long Island Regatta Committee “but through the help of companies such as Caribbean Bottling Company giving so generously immediately after the hurricane, and continuing to lend a helping hand whenever possible, this has made the 49th Annual Long Island Regatta a reality, and I am pleased to report that it was a great success!”

Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), local producer of Coca-Cola, has always strived to be ever present in the community through donations, sponsorship and participation. This year is no different as they continued to offer the support to the Long Island community both with their most recent fair and 49th annual regatta.

“Long Island has gone through a lot in the last nine months, rebuilding and coming together as a community to strengthen their community,” says Cara Douglas, Marketing Manager – CBC. “We are happy to extend a helping hand, and are proud that our contribution helped to ensure that the Long Island was able to host a successful 49th Regatta.”

“On behalf of the Long Island Regatta Committee and the people of Long Island we would like to sincerely thank Caribbean Bottling Company, and corporate Bahamas for its continued support,” says Mr. Burrows, Chairman of the Long Island Regatta Committee. “We look forward to an even bigger celebration next year at the 50th Annual Long Island Regatta!”
