The Barraterre Development Association is looking forward to another incredible, fun-filled homecoming festival on May 13th-16th, made possible by their financial sponsors. Consolidated Water (Bahamas) Ltd. (CWCO) one of the Association’s longest standing supporters, renewed their support with a donation toward the annual festival to assist in defraying expenses.

“CWCO has been making contributions to the Barraterre Development Association for as long as I can remember,” said Association President Shantel Taylor. “This year they again answered our call for aid and we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.”

The funds will help to cover costs for the various performers and sailors at the homecoming festival. The celebrations will include a regatta, native singers and entertainers, and cultural events such as the plaiting of the maypole. Entertainers Geno D., D-Mac, Veronica Bishop, Tropical Breeze and others will be performing. Funds raised from the event will assist in expanding the central gazebo at Barraterre and revamping the regatta area.
