Bahamas Bridal Event to Take Place in Washington D.C.

The U.S. nation’s capital is the selected venue for the latest Signature Bridal Event sponsored by the Islands of The Bahamas. The exclusive romance circuit event for newly engaged couples, honeymooners and lovers will take place from 1-4 pm on May 1st at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, located at 2500 Calvert Street, Washington, D.C.

The Bahamas made up of 700 islands and cays and known the world over for its breathtaking beauty, pristine crystal clear waters, diverse and unique culture and charming romance, was named the “Leading Wedding Destination in The World” by the World Travel Awards, which was staged in Morocco in December 2015.

Bahamian wedding providers and exhibitors from wedding planners, make-up artists, florists, photographers, videographers, jewelers, wedding dress providers among others will also be in attendance to meet one-on-one with couples desiring to hold a destination wedding in The Bahamas. Each exhibitor will provide a $250 credit voucher for his or her respective wedding service.

Among activities planned during the Signature Bridal event are: an authentic Bahamian Bridal show, fashion show, “I Do Wed” game, live cultural entertainment, Junkanoo rush-out and refreshments.

Numerous prizes and surprises will be awarded to registered couples attending the event, including a complimentary wedding ceremony in The Bahamas, three days two nights honeymoon stay for two, gift baskets, and many more.
