For the second year Dasani water has been the primary hydration source for the Grand Bahama Dogs Days Half Marathon.

On April 9th, at the Bahamas Adventure ground in Freeport, Grand Bahama, hundreds of two legged and four legged participants enjoyed the 2nd Annual Dog Days Half Marathon. For the second year Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), local producer of Coca-Cola, was the official beverage provider, hydrating all participants with both Dasani water, and Powerade.

"As the event organizers Nikki and I were very excited to have Coca Cola sponsor Dog Days for a second year in a row. The team provided all the water and Powerade for our 300+ runners, participated in our Health Expo, and donated awesome prizes and giveaways,” said Siobhan Antoni – Dog Days Half Marathon organizer.

“Their support was greatly appreciated as they had a table fully stocked at our finish line and joined us as we cheered on our runners as they completed their races. We look forward to having Coca Cola sponsor our next years’ race April 1st, 2017, which will be even bigger and better!"

“After the success of the first year, we felt a great need to increase our support to both the organizers, and Grand Bahama. To prove this, we increased our cash contribution to the race, and provided all the Dasani water needed to ensure both the participants, and volunteers were well hydrated,” explains Cara Douglas, Marketing Manager CBC.

“We also ensured that at the finish line all participants had Powerade to help replenish any lost electrolytes, and give them the boost they needed for the award stand! It is truly important for us to encourage our community to continually develop, and promote a healthy active lifestyle.”
