Going undie-cover Suspect had kids' underwear as a mask

TWO men are in police custody after they were caught attempting to rob a laundromat early yesterday morning.

Police said one of the suspects attempted to shield his identity by wearing a child’s underwear over his face.

According to police reports, shortly after 2am, the two suspects armed with knives went to Super Wash on Blue Hill Road south where they robbed the cashier of cash and a cell phone.

Police were immediately notified and officers from the Southeastern Division arrived on the scene in a matter of minutes and took the two suspects into custody, without incident. The cash and cell phone taken during the robbery were recovered from the men.

Investigations continue.
