The BHS has another busy few weeks coming up with events happening!

The 2-for-1 Spring Adoption Special continues through April. Adopt two cats for the price of one. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

This weekend, Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday April 24th, the BHS will have a table at the Green Earth Festival at Fort Charlotte, 12 noon to 6 p.m. both days. We plan to have adoption animals there for part of the time as well as BHS products for sale. Come and check us out! I'm looking for volunteers for Saturday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you are able to assist for any of those times, please let me know. Wednesday, April 27th is Quiz Night For Tiger at the Green Parrot, East Bay. Registration begins at 7 p.m., questions at 7:30. Teams of 2 to 6 people are welcome. Registration is $10 per player. Proceeds will go to help Tiger through BHS Exuma. For more information click here!

The BHS Gala Ball "Spring Affaire" is Saturday, May 7th at the British Colonial Hilton. Cocktails at 7 p.m. Dinner at 8 p.m. Dress: Black Tie. Your $250 donation per person includes all drinks and valet parking.

Have you checked out the BHS Thrift Shop lately? The shop is located right next to the shelter in Chippingham and sells gently used items at very reasonable prices. All proceeds go to the BHS. Shop hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wed, Thurs, Fri and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Donations of gently used items are always welcome and can be made at the shop during shop hours or at the shelter when the shop is closed. You never know what treasures you will find!
