Christmas came early for employees of Sunshine Holdings Limited – one of whom walked away with the coveted Chairman’s Award. The company recently held its annual Christmas party at the Balmoral Club. Senior management honored staff who had been employed with the company for five, 10 and 20 years.

Jamal Johnson, a junior architect at Arawak Homes, walked away with the Chairman’s Award. The award is given to the employee who makes the most valuable contribution to the organization.

“It feels great,” said Johnson, who has been employed with the company for six years. For the most part it feels good to see your hard work pay off after so long. You don’t do it for the recognition, but it feels good when it actually happens.”

Runners-up for the award included Lia Munroe, a senior account executive at Sunshine Insurance and Rhodrecka Pinder, a credit officer at Sunshine Finance.

MC Demetrius “Karaoke King” Pinder entertained the crowd.
