As The Final Battle 4 Atlantis Approaches!!!

It's the time of year again that that oh-so-familiar roar of the crowd sounds out to rock the walls of the Imperial Ballroom of Atlantis Paradise Island. Day 1 of the explosive 5th Annual Battle 4 Atlantis tournament has opened the event in grand style and now in Day 2 it only gets better at what has now become one of the most anticipated pre-season college basketball tournaments.

Since it's inception back in 2011, Battle 4 Atlantis has continued to grow in success, evolving from just being merely a golden idea on part of the Atlantis resort, but to be consider one of, if not, the richest Division I Men’s pre-season college basketball tournament. As many players pass through the doors of this prestigious tournament, one can easily look upon this as Battle 4 Atlantis cementing its place as a stepping stone into greatness. Some that would have transitioned into the NBA and that would have gone on to become great players presently (one, namely Stephen Curry) and even the lot of those who will do so in the near future, would be able to look back and say that they have either fought or were once crowned champions at the Battle 4 Atlantis.

With Gonzaga, Syracuse, Connecticut and Texas A&M coming out a victors on Day 1, Danuel House and the Texas A&M team in an incredibly exciting game pulled off the win against Gonzaga earlier today, 62-61 paving their way to the championship. Right after in an exciting Game 6, Syracuse pulled out a 79-76 win over UConn after Tyler Roberson snatched the offensive rebound on Trevor Cooney's 3-point heave just 6 seconds before the game clock ran out signaling the end of the game. If those games were any indication of what to expect the championship showdown, we are in for quite a battle.

Syracuse will face off against Texas A&M in the Battle for Atlantis title game Friday November 27th at 3 p.m.
