Senior citizens group donates $400 to NEMA for hurricane relief

The Fort Charlotte Chippingham & Urban Renewal Senior Citizens Group presented a cheque of $400 to the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, towards the Hurricane Joaquin relief effort. The presentation was made Thursday, November 19, 2016 at NEMA on Gladstone Road and NEMA’s Way. Director of NEMA Captain Stephen Russell thanked the group for the donation, acknowledging the outpouring of support following the devastation caused by the Category 4 storm in October to the islands in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
