JetBlue has come on board once again to partner with the 12th Annual Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF), and will lend its name to the "new vision film" category of the festival. The announcement was made by BIFF Founder and Executive Director Leslie Vanderpool, and Alan Sweeting, general manager of JetBlue Airways in The Bahamas. The festival will take place Dec. 1-12, 2015.

Under the terms of the deal, JetBlue has become the official airline sponsor of BIFF and the exclusive airline partner for festival travel between the United States and The Bahamas.

Commented Vanderpool, "JetBlue believes in providing the best exposure for the destination and organizations that believe in enhancing the travel and tourism outreach. Having JetBlue as the exclusive airline partner demonstrates that we provide unique opportunities as JetBlue is known to be very selective with partner organizations."

"JetBlue is proud to sponsor the Bahamas International Film Festival in 2015 as it continues to grow in prominence," said Sweeting. "This is a cultural event that attracts both tourists and locals to what will be an enriching experience."

JetBlue is innovative and thinking of branding throughout the film festival, so festival attendees shouldn't be surprised if they are lucky enough to sit in a JetBlue leather chair at the theaters and, under their chair, find a free ticket to travel to any JetBlue destination courtesy of the airline. To book low fares for travel to The Bahamas for the film festival, travelers should visit www.jetblue.com.
