College bookstore 3,000 members strong
Bahamian college students on a budget (all of them) are using the internet to buy and sell their books. Since 2006, thousands of books have been listed on bahamascollegzone.com
, a site created by Garnel Leo when he was a student at CoB. Last year, 1,082 new members signed up, bringing the total to more than 3,000. More than 5,000 books have been offered on Bahamascollegezone.com. In addition, site visitors can check out scholarship listings, jobs offers and a discussion forum.
