Minister of Social Services & Community Development Melanie Griffin tries to assist an elderly lady in South Long Island, who is trying to deal with the effects of Hurricane Joaquin on her home and her community. Minister Griffin and Social Services staff were in Long Island when these photos were taken on Sunday, October 11, 2015 showing devastation of wind and water by Category 4 Hurricane Joachin that pummeled the Southern Bahamas over a week ago.
