GENERAL SITUATION:   A surface trough near the Northwest Bahamas is enhancing shower activity …while another surface trough extending from hurricane Joaquin lingers near the Northwest Bahamas also sparking shower activity.  

Monday 5th – Variable cloudiness and a bit breezy with the chance of passing showers and isolated thunderstorms today in the Northwest & Central Bahamas…Partly sunny and warm with isolated  showers and few thunderstorm in the remainder of islands. Maximum Temperature 90°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Small Craft Should Exercise Caution in the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Winds SW-W 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and S-SW 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean but up to 9 feet in moderate swells in the Northwest Bahamas and 2-4 feet elsewhere but higher in swells.

Tuesday 6th – Variable cloudiness and warm with isolated showers and the chance of few thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 76°F. Winds SW-W 10-15 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas…variable at 10 knots or less in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean but up to 7 feet in northeasterly swells in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 1-3 feet but up to 6 feet in northeasterly swells in the remainder of the country.

Wednesday 7th – Partly sunny, warm and humid with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Winds SW-W 10 knots or less in the Northwest Bahamas…SE-S at 10 knots in the Central Bahamas and E-SE at 10 knot in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean.

Thursday 8th – Partly sunny, warm and humid with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 92°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Winds S-SW at 10 knots. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.

Friday 9th – Partly sunny with passing showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 76°F. Winds light & variable in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E 10-15 knots in the remainder of the country. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.

Saturday 10th – Mostly sunny, and warm with the chance of a brief shower Maximum Temperature 92°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F.  Winds light and variable in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas.
