Please be advised that schools on islands that have been impacted by Hurricane Joaquin (Cat Island, Ragged Island, Inagua, Mayaguana, Exuma, San Salvador, Rum Cay, Crooked Island, Long Island and Acklins) will remained CLOSED until further notice.

Schools on the islands of Abaco, Andros and The Berry Islands, Bimini, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama, and New Providence will resume TOMORROW, Monday, 5th October, 2015.

Additionally, The College of the Bahamas and the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institution will also resume on Monday, 5th October, 2015.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those on our southern islands as they recover from the devastation of Hurricane Joaquin.
